Make Up Artist

Make Up Artist

I was born in New York City and grew up in South Florida.  My parents were always taking us to cultural events in the City and South Florida.  I grew to love the theater and dreamed of becoming an actress.  After participating in a few college productions, I decided to a pursue a more practical career and decided to study computer science and business.  That was when the logical side of my brain took over and my creative side became dormant.  After many years in the businss world I found myself at a crossroad.  After being laid off from my last employer, I decided that I needed to reinvent myself and that is when I thought of makeup.
I am married to a hairdresser/makup artist and have watched him work for many years.  I found that I became interested in the makeup aspect of his work and decided that it made sense to partner up with him since I was already involved in the business side.  This way I could help out more and take our business to the next level.
I enrolled in Cosmix School of Makeup and learned the art of applying makeup.  We covered all the basics of color theory and how highlighting and contouring can impact the finished product.  I enjoy being a makeup artist.  The face is a blank canvas that is transformed.  The profession is fun and rewarding and I hope you enjoy my work.
Life is a journey not a destination so cease all opportunities as they present themeself.  You will grow and evolve to be the best that you can.
